The Hamsters are a family band specializing in old time fiddle music, some classics, a few modern songs, generally a good mix. We enjoy fun upbeat songs rather than slow songs!

Typically most songs include an acoustic guitar, electric stand up bass, two violins and two/four vocals.

Biographical information: The Hamps aka “The Hampsters” is a family based group residing in the small northern community of Burns Lake. Their love for music is derived from having fun and making people smile. Nicole 17 and little sister Julia 16 are the meat and the potatoes of the group!

They have invited their parents to accompany their selections but are currently resisting the sharing of any profits.

Past performances include, The Lakes District Festival of the Performing Arts, Hayfever Music Festival, Where the Rivers Meet (Quesnel) Skeena Valley (Terrace ) and the Kispiox Music Festival. All four members also belonged to the Valley Youth Fiddlers and performed in a BC tour of Alaria’s Fiddle.
